Terms and Conditions

1.Definitions

The following definitions apply in these Terms and Conditions:

• thizme: the digital platform for capturing personal life stories, offered by Quilmes B.V.
• Izme: the AI-powered digital biographer capturing stories on behalf of thizme
• User: the person making use of thizme's services
• Service: the full range of thizme's functionalities, including conversations via Izme, text generation and publication
• Story: the text and associated content created by the User through the Service
• Agreement: the agreement concluded upon purchase of a package

2.Applicability

2.1 These Terms apply to all legal relationships between thizme and the User.

2.2 thizme reserves the right to amend these Terms. Amendments take effect 30 days after notification.

3.The Service

thizme enables Users to have their personal story recorded through sessions with Izme. The end result includes:

• A digital page at thizme.com/[username]
• A downloadable PDF file, suitable for printing
• A digital book view with table of contents and chapters

thizme endeavours to provide a continuous service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

4.Intellectual Property and Copyright

Copyright belongs to the User

The copyright in all Stories created by the User belongs exclusively and entirely to the User. thizme makes no claim to any intellectual property right in respect of the content of the Stories.

The Agreement does not vest in thizme any ownership right or licence over the content of the Story, beyond what is strictly necessary for the technical performance of the Service.

Limited licence to thizme

The User grants thizme a non-exclusive, revocable and limited licence to store and publish the Story on the personal page only, and only to the extent that the User has enabled publication.

5.Liability

thizme accepts no liability whatsoever for the content of any Story. The User is solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information provided.

thizme expressly excludes all liability in connection with:

• The content, meaning, tone or interpretation of any Story
• Consequences of the publication of a Story, including reputational damage or third-party legal claims
• Inaccuracies resulting from information provided by the User
• Any outcome or consequence relating to the content of the Story

To the maximum extent permitted by law, thizme's liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for the relevant package.

6.User Obligations

The User warrants that all submitted content:

• Does not infringe any third-party rights
• Is not defamatory, offensive, discriminatory or otherwise unlawful
• Does not contain personal data of third parties without their consent
• Is not contrary to public order or good morals

The User shall indemnify thizme in full against all third-party claims arising from content submitted by the User.

7.Payment and Pricing

• Life story (100–200 pages): one-time EUR 39.99
• One story (20–50 pages): one-time EUR 24.99

All prices are inclusive of VAT. thizme does not operate a subscription model. Gift packages are processed via a unique gift code or link.

8.Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal lapses immediately upon the User's first active use of the Service — including initiating a conversation with Izme, submitting profile information, or any other interaction with the application. By using the Service, the User expressly agrees that performance commences immediately and that the right of withdrawal is thereby forfeited.

Withdrawal requests (where applicable): hello@thizme.com. Approved refunds are processed within 14 calendar days.

9.Use of Artificial Intelligence

The Service uses AI technology through the digital biographer Izme. thizme does not warrant that AI-generated texts are always fully accurate. The User is responsible for reviewing content before publication or printing.

10.Governing Law

All legal relationships are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Quilmes B.V. has its registered office.
